Visiting demonstration pilot Alasdair Sutherland brings in his model to land in the strong cross wind after a spectacular demonstration of flying skill.

Many of the 1000 or so spectators on the "Jets and Scale" day commented on how amazed they were to see how things have changed since they built a KK Senator or C/L Splatt. Three new members signed up on the spot to have a go. Others thought they might join later 'starting with something simple, like a Spitfire...'
